What Matters Most
During a roadside break in Ethiopia, we met this father and daughter. Though conflict was brewing in the Tigray region, this peaceful moment captured something universal: to him, nothing in the world mattered more than his daughter.We stopped for a quick break while traveling between towns and ended up chatting with this father and daughter. While peaceful at the time there were tensions in the Tigray region which erupted into a civil war that has so killed approximately 600,000 people. We love this photo because dad’s most important thing is life is his daughter.
