Tea in Masule
Iran was warm and welcoming, but Masule was unforgettable. We shared tea with locals on the town's hillside terraces while a street musician played nearby—a peaceful moment after hiking through the legendary Valley of the Assassins.Iran was welcoming and friendly, but Masule stood out. We found ourselves joining locals for tea and snack in cafes on the terraces going up the mountain on which the town was built. Here a gentleman was busking for some extra cash as we stopped to enjoy the moment. After hiking through the valley of assassins this was a lighter side to the area.
