Blurry Awakening
This was our first trip beyond the resorts. Awakened at 5 a.m. by roosters, we watched monks quietly gather alms from local residents. What first felt like a failed photo instead captured the surreal feeling of that unforgettable morning.This was from our first trip outside of resorts and Florida. We were awakened at 5 am by some local roosters. Taking a glance outside revealed this procession of monks gathering their food for the day from the local residents. Using a simple camera, this picture at first seemed like a failure only for it to instead capture the other worldly feel that we were experiencing.
